What is the role?

Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Member in Learning and Development Command (LDC) Reform.

As a Team Member in the AFP you will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

What will you do?

Performing the role of team member within LDC Reform, you will:
Provide support in implementing a range of reform initiatives, including the recommendations from the Recruit Training review and the Detective Training Program review.
Contribute to LDC strategies and initiatives for continuous improvement and long-term success of the AFP.
Build and sustain effective working relations with internal and external stakeholders and actively promote collaboration with LDC.
Leverage a positive attitude, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Coordination and management of the team mailbox and other administrative processes.
Provide support on the development, monitoring, reporting, compliance, and project improvement activities.
Produce and manage instructional material.
Conduct secretariat functions.
Undertake general tasks to progress the achievement of team outcomes.
Essential Requirements

You must;

Hold a Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or have the ability to obtain one.

Have a high level of understanding of the role and function of the AFP.

Have contemporary knowledge and experience utilising the Microsoft suite.

Desirable Requirements

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:
A relevant qualification in education or project management

Experience in project management.

Experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of training programs.

Additional Information

This role is located in the ACT, however, working from NSW may be possible.
