Help write the story of a globally listed consulting company

Develop content across multiple channels - from internal communications, to social media and multi-channel content marketing campaigns.

RPS is looking for a natural-born writer to lead communications and marketing activity for RPS’ Place and Oceans team on a fixed-term basis from May-December 2025.

Responsible for telling our story and driving consideration for our brand, this Marketing and Comms all-rounder will lead marketing campaigns, develop compelling content, manage key events and sponsorships, and support the executive with strategic communication initiatives.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop engaging content that promotes RPS services, people and expertise.
- Assess strategic and tactical communication requirements and work with internal stakeholders to execute effective communication, marketing and content plans.
- Work closely with our executive team, technical leaders and other stakeholders to develop high quality print and digital content, from concept to execution.
- Support technical leaders to position our services in key industry sectors via editorial/thought leadership, strategic partnerships with industry organisations, speaking opportunities, and more.
- Develop tailored content about our business, sectors and services for use across bids, tenders, marketing materials and business development collateral, as required.
- Support ongoing employee engagement and communication through internal communications advice and implementation.
- Support ongoing growth and optimisation across our digital and social channels.
- Educate business stakeholders on the role of content marketing in building brand consideration, create positive customer experiences, and deliver a commercial return.

**Qualifications required**
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, corporate affairs, or marketing.
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services or corporate environment.
- Experience across a range of communications and marketing disciplines, including content marketing, social media, and internal communications.
- Demonstrated experience writing, editing and proof-reading high-quality communications materials, for print and digital media.
- Prior experience in the professional services, property, or environmental science sector favourable, but not essential.
