They are tasked with improving the accessibility and availability of government services online by helping government transform services to be simple, clear and concise.

**Your new role**
The Policy Officers will be responsible for assisting to develop coordinated policy outcomes and coordinating program delivery. This involves developing high-level advice to executives and ministers and preparing high-level papers, artifacts, and timelines, Government and Ministerial committees.

As Policy Officers, you will be required to perform the following:

- Report initiative progress and ensure delivery towards deadlines and milestones.
- Undertake research and develop papers for senior meetings and engagements.
- Consult key stakeholders and get their input into key deliverables and reports.
- Draft documents, communications, and other materials to support the initiative.
- Provide mentorship, support and advice to junior staff.

**What you'll need to succeed**
As Policy Officers, you will be expected to bring the following skills and experience:

- Excellent writing, research, and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prepare high level documents, papers, reports, and briefings with mínimal supervision.
- An ability to support junior staff and provide feedback, advice and mentorship.

Desirable but not essential:

- Experience in a policy, technology, reporting, project, finance, procurement, communications or legal role.
