Sales / Showroom Assistant Ecommerce Bedroom

**About the business and the role**

For more than a decade, BEDWORKS has been a one-stop shop for the finest range of bedroom furniture. We supply beds, mattresses, and custom-built furniture to Sydney households and beyond.

We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Sales Professional to join our fast-growing team.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Ability to learn and understand extensive customisable furniture product lines, capabilities, technicalities, and requirements
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and/or request additional information to properly quote
- Provide customers with quotes, diagrams, appropriate forms & requests for missing information for accurate pricing and product information purposes.
- Communicate and follow up with vendors to obtain item details, discontinued information
- Identify and advise fabric and other components of furniture
- Extensive Customer Service call volume
- Data entry for Furniture orders as well as any accompanying fabric, and finish sample orders
- Processing of website and telephone orders
- Order acknowledgement once the order has been processed
- Provide formal quotes to customers

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised, high attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Proven experience in communicating directly with customers
- Friendly and positive verbal communication skills and experience with answering customer phone queries /online chat while navigating multiple and complex website and administration panels, payment gateways and other computer systems to answer customer queries
- Have a passion for eCommerce/Retail
- Strong team player as well as having the ability to work independently
- Previous experience in furniture sale (Bonus)
- Fit & strong; be able to move heavy furniture when required (Bonus)
- Australian residents only

**Salary**: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year is a bonus.
