**About the Role**
In this role you will be an advocate for the customer by building an understanding of customer behaviour and needs across Endeavour Group through the analysis of data, creation of insight and development of strategy that delivers improved customer experiences and sustainable category growth.
Reporting to the Head of Category Insights, you will:
- Ensure the customer is at the centre of decision making within Endeavour Group through the provision of compelling data-led insights
- Understand the impact of macro trends on customer behaviour and predict customer trends in drinks
- Use available data sources and research to understand customer behaviour and provide the business with a deeper understanding of customer needs
- Provide recommendations and guidance to stakeholders on how to best meet customer needs via range, experience, innovation and other category based initiatives
- Lead the annual category planning process and partner with Endeavour Merchandise teams to develop category strategies and track/evaluate progress on strategies and subsequent initiatives
- Use data to understand business performance, uncover challenges and opportunities and provide recommendations to find new sources of growth
- Own data and insights projects that relate to cross category opportunities and drinks industry challenges to build a vibrant, sustainable industry
- Work with Pinnacle Drinks on cross-category trend leadership opportunities, creating business cases for major product innovation initiatives that build loyalty for Endeavour’s Retail Brands
**About You**
You will bring to the role strong analytical and numerical skills gained through your extensive experience in a similar / analytical role.
You are a collaborative influencer with a natural ability to tell stories with data and engage others through data visualisation. You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience using sales and customer data sets - e.g. Quantium, Checkout, Nielsen, Aztec or other customer driven data sources
- Previous experience working in retail, or supplier in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Confident communicator (verbal and written)
- Curious mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Previous Drinks industry experience will be highly regarded
