Our Finance Department for our office in Brisbane is looking for a Head of Finance to cover both Australia and New Zealand markets.

**Head of Finance (f/m/d)** **(100 %)**

As our Head of Finance, you will shape Triumph’s financial landscape. Finance is about enabling our mission through strategic planning and management. You will lead a team of finance professionals, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting. We are looking for someone with technical skills, a strategic mindset, and effective communication abilities at all organizational levels.

**Your responsibilities**:

- **Finance & Accounting**: Manage a small team, ensure compliance, and handle reporting.
- **Risk Management**: Control legal and financial risks.
- **Relationship management**: Trusted leader within the local office with ability to present to stakeholders at a regional and/or global level. Work with external consultants (eg lawyers and advisors) and auditors.
- **IT & Site Services**: Develop these departments.
- **Performance Appraisals**: Ensure transparency within local F&A organisation and in line with Global HR guideline

**Specific Areas**
- **Accounting**: Certify results, timely closings, and compliance.
- **Tax/VAT**: Ensure compliance and prepare tax documents.
- **Transfer Pricing**: Document OTIF in accordance with local/Global regulations
- **Treasury**: Secure cash, ensure capital and liquidity requirements are fulfilled, and manage payments.
- **Finance Systems**: Provide full support / input to Triumph SAP glide path
- **Financial Planning**: Provide forecasts, business simulations, full-year performance analysis, and report KPIs. Make sure company investments align with future goals by setting financial criteria for approval based on the budget and business plan.
- **S&M Finance**: Support in the modelling of retail and wholesale strategies (including franchising).
- **M&A**: Collaborate with commercial division to identify opportunities
- **Audit**: Prepare year end pack detailing breakout and support schedules of information required. Timely audit OTIF with a view to reduce audit recommendations YoY.

**Additional Tasks**
- Re-engineer processes for efficiency, manage restructuring, understand daily operations, identify risks, protect profits, and reduce costs.

**Your ideal profile**:

- Senior Finance professional and qualified accountant with 10+ years of experience in MNC, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience in planning & reporting, controlling, treasury management, system implementation and business integration
- Solid functional background in all financial areas with both statutory and IFRS accounting and reporting experience. An understanding of EU IFRS will be advantageous.
- Strong business process management skill with good business insight
- Effective communication and able to influence all levels of staff, including senior management team sitting at regional or global level.
