    Job Description

    The Head of Finance position is a classic all-rounder role but with a premium on business partnering. Core responsibilities include:
    • Lead the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
    • Support on tendering and pricing decisions and ensure commerciality of contracts.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in partnership with external partners.
    • Manage cash flow and oversee capital expenditure planning.
    • Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance.
    • Drive process improvements and implement financial best practices.
    • Work closely with Group finance and ensure the seamless flow of financial information

    The Successful Applicant

    The Incoming Head Of Finance Should Have
    • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent).
    • Proven experience in accounting and finance leadership roles, ideally with a previous reporting line to business/operations leadership.
    • Strong knowledge of the industrial sector, with a preference towards industrial services and contracts.
    • Proven ability to manage and motivate a finance team.
    • Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, with exposure to ERP implementations a plus.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
