Trainer and Assessor for Cert Iv in Ageing Support

Lead College is seeking energetic, motivated, confident and outgoing Trainer and Assessor to provide a high standard of delivery and assessments to aspiring international students for the following qualifications:

- CHC33015 - Certificate III in Individual Support
- CHC43015 - Certificate IV in Ageing Support

Training location is in Cannington (Perth Campus). The available positions are for trainer and assessor who will be assigned student groups that will be timetabled according to the training plans and availability. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Deliver high-quality training and assessment in accordance with the requirements of CHC33015 and CHC43015.
- Develop and implement training plans, session plans, and assessment tools.
- Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
- Support students in achieving their learning goals and overcoming any challenges.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality of training and assessment.

About you
- You are well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skills
- You have previous experience in education/training based role and/or experience in the relevant industry
- You have excellent presentation skills; including a positive and professional work manner
- You have the ability to priorities work, meet deadlines and work accurately under conflicting time pressures
- You are flexible in the hours you can work; evening and weekend work is required
- You have or/are willing to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check (can be organised prior to commencing employment)
- Knowledge of the industry Training Package

Necessary qualifications:

- Relevant qualifications in Training and Assessment (e.g., TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher).
- Relevant current Industry experience in individual support and ageing support.
- Strong knowledge of CHC33015 and CHC43015 training packages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
