Position Purpose

The Customer Service team is responsible for managing both pre
- and post-order processes, ensuring that volume, quality, and scheduling requirements are consistently met. The primary objective of this role is to optimize customer service levels within the bounds of standard commercial practices, in a market where exceptional customer service is essential.

Success in this position depends on strong communication, planning, prioritization, information analysis, and decision-making skills, all within a dynamic, customer-centric environment. This role also requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Distribution.

Areas of Responsibility
- Develop Rapport with Customers
- Customer Feedback is handled positively and sensitively
- Information regarding problems and delays is promptly communicated to customers and followed up
- Internal and external clients experience ongoing improvement in service levels
- Service to clients is an Interface competitive advantage.
- Drive positive relationships between sales, supply chain and production.
- Has a clear understanding of the roles of each function.
- Ensure that systems and processes support each other.
- Demonstrate safe working behaviours

Qualifications and Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role
- High Level of oral and written communication skills
- Experience in a high paced, fast moving customer focussed environment
- Strong Computer Skills
- JDE/SAP preference
- Accurate data entry and attention to detail
