Additional Information
- This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
- The location for the role is Service Office Tempe NSW.
**About this work area** As Business Navigator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide country management with analysis, expert insights, and business information to guide decision-making, challenge strategies, and drive growth, optimal performance, and long-term profitability.
- Ensure timely and relevant information is communicated effectively to stakeholders, inspiring meaningful decisions and actions that support business goals.
- Partner with units on financial performance and providing support and challenging where necessary, while overseeing financial submissions to global retail business navigation and managing specific P&L lines to support targets and improve performance.
- Contribute to the country pricing process, identifying commercial opportunities to maximize gross margins and support financial objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with units and SO functions to implement tools, processes, and best practices to enhance customer experience and retail foundation.
- Conduct functional reviews, supporting units in improving performance, competence, and customer experience, while ensuring performance measurement systems and KPI improvements through operational workshops and benchmarking activities.
- Present to the Country and Global Board on key topics. This role will require you to work flexible hours, including being available late nights and weekends across different time zones where required.
As Business Navigator you are:
- An experienced leader with prior store experience, solid commercial business knowledge and cross-functional understanding of IKEA.
- Store and/or Service Office Business Navigation experience an advantage.
- Equipped with excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to recognise trends and translate them into business opportunities.
- Able to translate and impart financial and technical information and present this in a clear and informative manner to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Equipped with strong communication skills and ability to foster relationships with a wide variety of business partners, with demonstrated ability to influence decisions.
