The Role:
We are looking for a Junior Dog Groomer or Groomer Assistant to join our team on Fridays and Saturdays, with the possibility of additional days. This role is perfect for someone passionate about dogs and eager to gain hands-on experience in grooming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform basic grooming tasks including pre-clipping, washing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and brushing.
- Assist senior groomers with prep work before full grooms.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic grooming space.
- Handle dogs with patience and care, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Communicate with the team and clients in a friendly and professional manner.

**Requirements**:

- Some prior experience with dogs (professional or personal) is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow grooming techniques as trained.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.

This role is open for any of our locations initially Dogs in Town Alexandria - we will match you with the most suitable one based on availability and need.

Pay: $23.40 - $40.70 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
