We're seeking an experienced Track/Civil Supervisor. Established team, working in the mining sector. Long-term career opportunity.

We have a new requirement for a Track/Civil Supervisor, for this well-known mining organisation. This is a long-term career opportunity. The scope of work is initially for 3 years but is likely to be ongoing, meaning you can make this a real career move.

This is a FIFO role, offering exceptional hourly rates. They are ideally looking at a 2:1 roster however there is some flexibility here if required. You'll be FIFO to Port Hedland, staying at state-of-the-art facilities. This is a true leadership position - you'll have up anywhere from 20-40 contractors working under you.

You'll be joining an established, but also growing team. We have many other contractors in this team, and we want you to be next.

This team is responsible for executing large-scale capital and operation expenditure track works including track renewal/reconstruction (plain line, turnouts, cross overs), re-rail & stress management and rail civil works.

You'll add value by:

- Supervise and manage the safe execution of track renewals track activities.
- Develop methodologies to improve safety and efficiency, and to reduce cost.
- Develop and sustain a strong safety and collaborative culture in the track renewals team.
- Supporting the Project Manager in project delivery, ensuring works are constructed to contract requirements and timelines.

In terms of your background, you'll ideally have experience in:

- Supervisory experience in track renewals including plain line, turnouts and cross overs, level crossings, re rail and stress management
- Good communication, interpersonal and people management skills with a range of audiences.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft suite, 1SAP and planning systems.
- Good planning skills and the ability to oversee projects to successful completion.
- Administration and prioritisation including time management capability.
- Competent in reading detailed plans and elevations.
- Sound judgement including balancing competing issues.
- Ability to identify risks and implement controls to manage the risk.
