**The Role**

As the General Manager of KBR’s Mission IT and Security Solutions line of business you will be responsible for the management and leadership of a large team to deliver multiple projects and workstreams within the line of business and ensure alignment with the Company's strategic plan and business goals. You will ensure the successful delivery of outcomes and that KBR understands and addresses client issues.

You will lead people to achieve positive results and provide oversight of governance and compliance requirements for the line of business. In partnership with the People and Culture team, you will also participate in the development, retention, and satisfaction of staff within your line of business, and advocate and embody KBR’s values while actively working to continuously improve company culture and employee engagement.

Other duties will include:

- Ensure successful delivery of all projects and programs of work within line of business, whilst meeting both client and KBR requirements.
- Providing effective governance and compliance of projects and programs of work within the line of business and in a collaborative manner ensuring all commercial, technical, and other business obligations and objectives are met
- Continuously improve project and program performance and quality.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Lead customer engagement across the team on behalf of the line of business and senior KBR management.
- Champion a collaborative and results-oriented culture focused on development, retention and continuous improvement of employees, systems and processes that is consistent with the KBR values.

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**
- Extensive previous & successful experience in program management and operational delivery within the Defence and government market.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and get the best out of staff.
- Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with key senior stakeholders both internally and externally in a Defence/Defence Industry environment.
- Extensive & relevant network across Defence and Federal government with market/industry knowledge and expertise.
- Results oriented and proven ability to drive sustained business growth through successful delivery to high standards.
- Demonstrated experience in governance and compliance of programs of work and effectively managing and overseeing multiple schedules, budgets and teams to achieve success.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, management, technology, or other relevant fields.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
