The Oceania Finance department is responsible for timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments relating to its suppliers. This role will work as part of a small team, with the primary role being the passing of invoices and transferring of these onto the accounting system. This role will also be required to reconcile supplier statements.

**Main Role Accountabilities**

**AP Transactions**
- Daily review and corrections of open invoices in automated AP system Shipamax and liaise with Operations if there are queries in matching invoices process.
- Processing Overhead invoices and staff expense
- Credit Card maintenance, transaction processing & reconciliation.
- Process intercompany transactions.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Fortnightly payment runs.
- Maintenance of supplier details including the addition of new suppliers.
- Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any invoice. discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
**AR Transactions**
- Send out monthly billing file and invoice to certain customers.
- Processing customer payments as well as ensuring all payments are correctly allocated to customer accounts.
- Send out customer statements to correct contacts and chasing for overdue payments.
- Consolidate and follow up on any invoice queries customers may have.
- Liaise with operational teams for query resolution.
- Maintenance of customer details including the addition of new customers and credit checks
**General Ledger**
- Bank reconciliations on a daily basis.
- Month end journals
**General Duties**
- General office duties including scanning and filing.
- Answer and return calls and maintain a rapid response to agreedstandards
- Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant law and procedures.
- Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
- Liaise with Management to identify any changes in work instructions and/or processes.
- Ad hoc duties as required.***

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Good understanding of transactional finance and terminology required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel
- Basic Microsoft Word skills.***
