Our client who is a leading infrastructure services provider in Australia is on a look out for an experienced Accounts/Finance Officer to join their corporate accounting team.

As an Accounts/Finance Officer, you will be supporting the team in the process of the corporate accounting, bank account clearing and reconciliation. The **responsbilities** will include:

- Supporting the team in the process of identifying and allocating intercompany cost within SAP
- Preparing various month end journals
- Supporting the team with any other business activities as required
- Performing ad-hoc projects and activities as may be required from time to time
- Clearing the cash in/cash out GLs per payment file, business input, remittance from external payer, and investigating unallocated receipts/outgoings by contacting relevant stakeholders and requesting further information from the bank
- Reconciling the amounts per bank statement against the amounts in SAP, investigating and resolving the differences if any, and listing and commenting all outstanding cash in/cash out item

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years' experience in a similar position
- Tertiary level qualifications in Finance or Accounting - CA or CPA (or studying)
- Previous experience of SAP desirable
- Intermediate Ms Excel skills Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated business knowledge in Accounting/Finance
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to assess a situation and exercise judgement
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive in taking action to address needs.
