AIG’s underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals.

About the role

What you need to know:

- Management of SME underwriter shared calendar.
- Assist in monitoring 1300 Underwriter Triage phone queue
- Monitoring of Transact outstanding referral levels
- Issue of weekly Renewal Invitation Compliance notification to underwriters
- Assist SME Team Leader in various tasks including but not limited to maintaining minutes from team meetings.
- Proactively engage with AU Operations (including CPS/AIGSS) to ensure timely and effective bordereau processing and effective credit control monitoring (including unallocated cash and receivables/aged debtor reporting).
- Assist Portfolio Solutions Risk Event Coordinator to investigate risk events, near misses and breaches of the GI Code of Practice and ensure timely reporting
- Assist with project coordination work as required

What we’re looking for:

- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite platforms systems
- Ability to drive a culture of service excellence
- Sound communication skills - including written and presentation skills
- Strong team player
