**About the Venue**:
Up the stairs from Island Radio, you’ll find “Baptist St. Rec Club” - a neighbourhood cocktail tavern channelling the offbeat, playful spirit of 1980’s and 90’s Australia. Part cosy local, part destination party spot, this 120-capacity venue will have walls popping with over 400 visual momento’s from the era, with DJ’s and live bands turning up the fun on the weekends and a “Trophy Room” ready for viewing parties or group hangs. Baptist St. Rec Club blends nostalgia with an eccentric and fresh twist for a proper night out

**About the Role**:
As Assistant Bar Manager, you’ll play a key part in the operations at Baptist St Rec Club. From leading bar service to maintaining high standards across the venue, you’ll be hands-on, solutions-focused, creative and a natural leader.

As Bar Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service standards across the venue. You’ll lead by example on the floor, help manage stock and prep, and support the team during busy services. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career - motivated, reliable, and passionate about hospitality. You’ll be placed on a progression plan with hands-on mentoring and development, setting you up for success in stepping into an Assistant Bar Manager role and beyond.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Supporting daily service operations and lead the bar team.
- Overseeing venue presentation and compliance standards.
- Drive the creation and evolution of the cocktail menu, showcasing seasonal ingredients and reflecting the venue’s unique concept.
- Managing end-of-day reports, cash-ups, and timesheet approvals.
- Keeping team communication clear and across the board.
- Contributing to a positive team culture through training, feedback, and incentives
