**What you will do**
- You will operate and maintain the imaging equipment (training will be given)
- You will quality Assure resulting images
- You will carry out minor document prep as required (and permitted by the archive)
- You will be the 'face' of Ancestry within the archives and therefore responsible for maintaining good relations

**Who you are**
- You have the necessary skills and ability to handle fragile and irreplaceable documents carefully and sensibly
- You have the aptitude to learn scanning techniques
- You have a strong sense of purpose and pride in your work
- You have initiative
- You work well both independently and as a member of a team
- You are comfortable with deadlines
- You have proven IT ability

**Desirable but not essential**
- Previous experience of similar project work
- General knowledge and appreciation of history/genealogy
- General knowledge of photography

Contract: Temporary (Project expected to last 4 months)

Rate: $ 24/Hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week excluding meal breaks.

At management discretion and agreement with State Records Office of Western Australia, staff are expected to be flexible with their working patterns. The Records Office building is open to staff between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
