**Project Delivery Executive, WA**:
Our Mining team helps clients optimise performance, boost profitability, and operate responsibly. We have a comprehensive understanding of the mining industry and current issues including decarbonisation and understand future ready strategies are critical to countering these issues, capitalising on opportunities, and adding value to businesses.

We work for the world largest mining companies including BHP, Glencore, Rio Tinto, Hancock, not only in Australia, but across the globe. We develop relationships with our clients that go beyond a single project or geography and see ourselves as partners in their mining business, not just consultants. Our partnership with these clients stretches over decades, across many continents and projects.

**What you’ll do**:

- Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations as detailed in the relevant RACI matrix.
- Lead our "zero harm" safety culture by role modelling safe work practices and ensuring all safety and environmental obligations are fulfilled.
- Foster a truly engaged and high performing workforce, with a focus on Thrive, mentoring, training and development.
- Build the Project Delivery business unit in terms of capability and work winning. This includes business development, opportunity identification, pursuits, proposals and relationship building with key clients.
- Active leadership role in Mining Infrastructure & Project Delivery (WA) and the National team
- Be an active member of the Project Management Office (PMO) Steering Committee
- Key Account Manager for various platinum clients, which includes leading meetings with internal stakeholders, pursuing opportunities and be client facing
- Management and capability building of the Project Controls function to service Mining & Energy business units including design, study and implementation phases
- Consult with, assist, and advise Engineering, Project, and Sales department management on matters involving costs or cost estimates on proposed sales, new developments, or active projects.
- Lead and embed formal and informal training on the tools, processes and best practices appropriate for the target individual or team.
- Influence project managers and team members to effectively use tools and processes.
- Responsible for embedding risk management principles & methodologies into Project systems and
- processes.
- Work collaboratively with your colleagues from all parts of the WSP businesses.
- Create productive, long lasting and profitable internal relationships through client focused project
- delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate governance, business system, quality and risk management
- obligations.
- Provide well managed, timely and informed contribution to the annual budget setting.
- Develop and achieve strategic initiative outcomes, in line with Major Project team and wider Transport strategic plans.

**About you**:

- Tertiary Qualifications - Bachelor of Engineer (either Civil or Mechanical), Construction Management, or Project Management
- Extensive years of relevant experience, with a strong Project Delivery background and Business Development experience
- Hands on Experience in a Project Consultant Management (PMC), Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) and/or Procurement and Construction Management (PCM) environment
- Participated in and facilitated workshops and reviews
- Experience in fee estimates, tenders, contracts, claims, variations and EoT, procurement, schedule preparation, schedule integration and schedule analysis, risk analysis and modelling and risk workshop facilitation.
- Experience in contributing to various proposals and pursuits of various complexity and size.
- Competent in complying with applicable legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
- Competent in providing key technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
- Built and managed a high performing team (including virtual and remote employees) that deliver profitable business outcomes.
- Monitor and implement people activities/initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and talent to promote and recognise high potential employees which contributes to a harmonious work culture.
