AustCorp is supporting an international firm in securing a strong, skilled, and stakeholder-orientated State Construction Lead - Commercial Projects to support and lead teams undertaking Minor Works & CAPEX Replacement Projects on behalf of clients in Commercial Buildings, State & Federal Government sites, Tertiary & Secondary Education premises; as well as Financial Services Critical environments.

You will ideally hold a Construction trade background (Including Builders Licence) or Construction Management Degree.

They are seeking to appoint a Commercial Projects Construction Lead to undertake and oversee delivery of all minor works & CAPEX upgrades, including: - building retrofitting, refurbishments & minor enhancements across multiple Metro or Regional sites.

**Base Criteria**
Qualified in a Construction trade (Including Builders Licence) or Construction Management Degree.

With a strong Hands-on leadership style to manage stakeholder engagement, business development & support staff undertaking project delivery.

**Outline Duties**
Performing a hands-on leadership role, undertaking site walk-rounds, Bid support, EOI response & pricing of works, while managing stakeholder engagement.

Support the delivery of a range of projects through effective staff leadership, client & sub-contractor management & ensuring timely delivery within agreed timescales.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Permanent Australian Resident / Citizen, able to secure National Police Clearance, and additional checks.
- Construction trade with builders licence or degree in construction management.
- Effectively provide management support and mentor junior trades & project managers.
- Strong compliance and operational excellence skills.
- A strong written and verbal communicator, with fluent English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions, and undertake internal and external stakeholder interface.
- Engaging personality and well-presented, able to delegate responsibilities to ensure duties are completed.
