We have two positions for our CNC Upcut Saw. A **Feeder** and an **Operator**.

**Feeder.** The feeder and packer role involves reviewing upcoming CNC Saw cut lists and gathering and assembling all the required materials ready for cutting. In addition, this role involves labelling, sorting and wrapping the cut materials ready for dispatch to the fabrication facility. The feeder will also be required to use the manual saws from time to time.

**Operator**. The CNC Upcut Saw operators position is to ensure that the saw is _**continuously**_ run. This requires uploading cut lists to CNC Saw's computer to ensure the correct aluminium extrusions are cut accurately and with the minimum of wastage.

You will be required to keep the CNC Saw and all equipment including the blade and machine gear inspected and maintained and to ensure all cutting fluids are available and that you and your machine is able to function at peak performance with the absolute minimum of downtime. It is your responsibility to ensure that your machine is working safely and continuously and that any downtime issues are immediately reported to the production manager for review and rectification.

We are a Security Screen and Door manufacturer and wholesaler located near Acacia Ridge, Brisbane where we manufacture thousands of insect screens, security screens & security doors every month.

Our day shift starts at 5am and finishes 3:30pm.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be skilled and focused on quality and safety yet you can get your tasks completed as efficiently as possible.

Must have's include:

- Experience with Aluminium Cutting in a Fabrication environment.
- A proven performance of accurate and error free high output CNC machinery operations.
- All our products are quality checked. Experienced saw operators will be expected to cut materials that are expected to pass our quality checks in 99.7% of cases. Extremely careful attention to detail is required to pass our product specification quality checks.
- Physical Strength. You will have the strength to lift long lengths of Aluminium extrusion.
- A flexible work life balance with the ability to get yourself to and from work for shift times outside of normal public transport times.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
