Factory Supervisor

A&G Fabrications currently have a vacancy for a Factory Manager at our Commercial Aluminium Manufacturing Factory in Acacia Ridge. We specialise in the design, manufacture & installation of Aluminium Windows, Doors & Aluminium Sunscreens, Louvres & Perforated Screens.

This hands-on position will have overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the factory. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Efficiently managing the daily activities and tasks of manufacturing staff, ensuring the required resources are available
• Reviewing manufacturing schedules
• Allocation of PPE to manufacturing staff
• Ensuring all manufacturing staff are adequately trained, competent and hold the appropriate licenses where required
• Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process
• Ensuring OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to within the manufacturing area
• Building & maintaining a good rapport with all stakeholders
• Adhoc duties as required

The applicant must have experience in a supervisory role in an aluminium manufacturing facility, be able to read and understand detailed works orders. Must possess working knowledge of manufacturing processes and have a good understanding of construction techniques.

The successful candidate must have excellent organisation and communication skills, be quality focused and have a strong commitment to safety.

The following will be required for this position:

• Current Drivers Licence

Highly regarded:

• Welding experience
• glazing experience using AWS systems
• Experience using CNC machine
• Constructions White Card
• Forklift ticket
• MR Licence

The position is available for immediate start for the right candidate

Remuneration dependant on skills & experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
