**The Company**

Our client is a major Australian based organisation who provide building material to the construction industry across the country and overseas. They are currently looking for a Supply Planner for 12 months to join their team to cover maternity, based in Seven Hills, NSW.

**The Role**

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

- Placing orders for local raw materials for sites where required and follow up to ensure Purchase Orders are placed and delivered in time.
- Monitor and manage purchase order availability dates in SAP to ensuring feasible product supply.
- Manage any material shortages, provide planned status to Planning Manager with options to alleviate issues.
- Ensure Raw Material forecasts are sent to suppliers according to agreed timelines with confirmation of acceptance of forecast numbers.

**The Person**
- We are looking with someone who has Tertiary qualification in logistics, economics or other numerate discipline. APICS CPIM (BSCM) or CSCP certification preferred but not essential.
- We are looking for someone who has experience in supply chain, economics, materials management and logistics.
- Computer literate - experience in SAP and / or other ERP systems preferred.
- Someone with a passion for supply chain and wants to gain further experience in a large organisation.
- You will be able to work a hybrid 2/3 days from home. Parking on site at the office.
