**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules** based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- **Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams** to ensure availability of materials and components.
- **Monitor work orders and production status** to identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays.
- **Ensure efficient allocation of resources** including labor, equipment, and materials.
- **Analyze capacity and resource utilization** to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- **Adjust production plans** in response to changes in demand, equipment failures, or material shortages.
- **Collaborate with Quality Assurance** to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- **Maintain accurate records** of production metrics, inventory levels, and schedule performance.
- **Support continuous improvement initiatives** within the production planning process.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials flow, and shop floor operations.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.14 per hour
