**HR Business Partner.** This is a
**permanent opportunity.**

Garnering a deep and rich history for over 40 years, today they have grown to 49 unique residences in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. They have a wealth of understanding and expertise to provide the care residents need and want.
**Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner,** the Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of human resources services to the residents and employees. The People and Culture Business Partner is tasked with streamlining HR functions, reporting on HR metrics, enhancing workforce retention, predicting staffing needs, managing termination processes, managing risk, ensuring staff wellness, and
ensuring compliance regulations.

**Role responsibilities**:
Ensure that Arcare complies with relevant IR, EBA, EEO, OH&S and training obligations;
- Conduct workplace investigations; including performance management, disciplinary procedures and terminations;
- Partner with Residence Managers to improve employee engagement and participation;
- Advise, guide and coach Residence Managers on all people related issues across the employee life cycle
- Partner with Residence Managers to implement change management projects; i.e. roster reviews
- Facilitate education in line with Human Resources objectives and promote Employee Initiatives
- Ensure Residence Managers and HR system users are using the system (PageUp)
- effectively and appropriately and provide training when necessary;
- Promotion of Dedicated Staffing Assignment and support managers in adherence to the model
- Ensure all HR related recruitment and workforce management activities are consistent with and adhere to DSA model of care
- Assist in termination of employment, ensuring best outcome possible for all parties
**About you**:
The company is going through growth and change, so you must be able to influence your client groups & have a high level of resilience in your character.
- Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- An understanding of ER and EBA's is ESSENTIAL
- Current and valid Police Clearance and Statutory Declaration that does not preclude working in Aged Care
- Right to Work - Australian Citizen, Resident or current Visa
- Current driver’s license, willingness to travel to various Residences
- Proven organisational, administrative and time management skills including strong attention to detail
- Effective self-management and prioritisation of workloads
- Demonstrated capacity to work flexibly and willingness to work on different and multiple activities
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with a diverse range of people
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Acts as a positive role model with honesty and integrity at all times;
- Appreciation of EEO
- Eager to learn and explore various approaches to a solution
- Demonstrated skills in relating to a broad range of people with a high level of discretion.
