**The Role**:
As a Recoverable Works Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Jemena recovers costs associated with damage to our assets, including pipelines, wires, and poles. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate incidents from general public and civil contractors, liaise with internal teams and third parties, and raise invoices for damages, if required. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex situations with empathy and intelligence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Incident Investigation**: Assess incidents involving damage to Jemena’s assets, identifying responsible parties and evaluating the extent of damage.
- ** Invoicing**: Accurately raise invoices for damages, ensuring all costs are accounted for and justified.
- ** Stakeholder Liaison**: Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to verify the accuracy of costs and facilitate positive payment outcomes.
- ** Empathy and Critical Thinking**: Approach each case with a balance of empathy and critical thinking, ensuring fair and reasonable assessments.
- ** Payments**: Work proactively with the Accounts Receivable Team to ensure timely and satisfactory payment resolutions.
