**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We’re looking for a driven and well organized Retail Coordinator to support the Retail Department with day-to-day retail operations.

**In this role you will**:

- Be responsible for following market trends, customer buying behaviors, and historic sales data to introduce new product ranges with a positive outlook for revenue generation.
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate product quality, order quantities and delivery terms, and follow through the production process to ensure timely delivery of products to UQ Sport retail outlets.
- Liaise very closely with our retail outlets, the warehouse and other internal stakeholders to provide updates on product availability as well as detailed product information needed to support sales.
- Ensure high levels of merchandising standards are maintained within all back of house retail areas.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- minimum 1 years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably with ordering experience.
- Prior experience with retail systems will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to collaborate with the close-knit retail team.
- Impeccable attention to details and outstanding time management skills to support you in the fast paced environment.
- The ability to proactively identify ways to improve retail operations.
