Our Mungari Gold Operations are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving employees the luxury of coming home every day.
Last year we announced our expansion project, a $250m investment to expand our processing mill. This investment will extend Mungari’s mine life to 15 years and double annual production to over 200,000 ounces per year post commissioning. It’s an exciting time to join the Mungari Operations

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Training Advisor, the Trainer Assessor will play an integral part in the Sustainability team improving on training and assessments for our underground operations.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Daily liaison with underground personnel, conducting training and competency assessments.
- Actively participating in the integrity of training records, matrixes and needs analysis.
- Report on activities and finalise records within set timelines.
- Liaise with the Senior Training Advisor for external service provider training needs.
- Assist with maintaining the training budgets and ensure procedures comply with government regulations.

About you
You will be either FIFO or resident in the local Kalgoorlie area, available to work 8:6 (12-hour day) roster.
To be successful in this role, it is essential you have previous experience as a Trainer Assessor working within underground mining operations. You will be comfortable to work autonomously, planning and scheduling the delivery of your programs and assessments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building sills are a must, with a strong focus on safety, promoting a ‘Safety First' culture.
Evidence of the following mandatory qualifications and experience will be required.
- Formal qualification and or extensive experience with underground operations
- Cert IV assessor (mandatory) or Cert IV TAE40116 - Certificate IV training and assessment (desirable)
- Western Australian Drivers Licence - Open Class
- Permit to Work, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces
