**About the Role**

The Manager Ministerial Services sits within Governance and Portfolio Services and is responsible for leading a high performing team comprising of 15-20 Senior Department Liaison Officers, Department Liaison Officers and Business Support Officers to provide support across the Department’s five portfolio Ministers’ offices. The Manager Ministerial Services plays a key role in the overall relationship between the Ministers’ Offices and the Department and escalation of issues and decisions.

**Key Accountabilities**
- **Relationship and Stakeholder Management**- has built and maintained strong strategic and trusting relationships between the Department, their team and the Ministers’ Offices.
- **Team Development** - has led the development and implementation of a program of work to continuously build the knowledge and capability of the team’s Senior Department Liaison Officers, Department Liaison Officers and Business Support Officers.
- **Effective People Leadership** -has provided effective leadership, people management and support to their team. Staff are engaged with high levels of cohesion and commitment and are delivering on the services required.
- **Process documentation -**has maintained accurate and up to date processes, guides and manuals to ensure consistency of approach and support for the Senior Department Liaison Officers, Department Liaison Officers and Business Support Officers in undertaking their roles.
- **Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations**
- **Provide support across the Governance & Portfolio Services Division** as required.

**Key Selection Criteria**

DTP is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Governance and Portfolio Services team as Manager Ministerial Services. In this pivotal role, you will lead a high-performing team, including 15-20 Senior Department Liaison Officers, Department Liaison Officers and Business Support Officers, fostering collaboration between Ministers’ Offices and the Department. You will play a crucial role in managing escalations, resolving issues, and ensuring effective decision-making processes.

We are looking for an individual who excels and has achieved demonstrated results in stakeholder management, customer focus, interpersonal skills and knowledge management and documentation.

Your ability to lead and manage people is critical, as you will uphold organisational values, foster engagement, and drive team performance. Additionally, you will develop capability by empowering others and creating opportunities for growth.
