**The Role**
As the APS5 Governance Officer you will lead as small Business Administrative team in providing business administration support to Joint Logistics Unit (West).
Under limited direction you will be required to have a comprehensive understanding of Commonwealth legislative and policy requirements particularly with resource management, information and records management, quality systems and personnel management.

The APS5 Governance Officer will be required to engage with and communicate with internal and external stakeholder to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes, therefore excellent communication skills are essential. You will undertake research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessments, and investigations and perform procedural, clerical, administrative support work to achieve results.

You may be a team coach and be accountable to set work priorities, allocate work, and manage workflows and performance and identifying opportunities for on-the-job training.
