**About the role**
Are you an ex-serviceman with a maintenance trade background?

This is a full-time permanent position based at Palmer Barracks in **South Guildford WA**.

**Key duties, but not limited to**:

- Ensure compliance with Ventia and contract specific quality assurance and safety standards
- Develop and maintain effective working procedures with the JLU team
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and best practice methodologies
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with Client and Contract managers
- Provide support to operations in the provision of data and management of work orders
- Guide the Finance and Administration team in resolution of claim rejections
- Oversee the mandatory report process ensuring that all documentation is uploaded to facilitate claiming
- Manage the prompt and effective receipt, allocation and dispatch of orders
- Analyse and report on overdue work orders and follow through to completion
- Coordinate the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities

**Skills & experience**:

- Sound understanding of work order management and the ability to problem solve
- Competent in managing and coordinating maintenance production and planning outputs
- Experience in the use of maintenance management software systems
- Ability to coordinate and plan tasks in a maintenance environment
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

**Other special conditions**:
The incumbent to this position must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret). As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen
This position also requires you to obtain a National Criminal History Check and hold a valid Australian driver’s licence
