**About the role**:
Within this role, you will be required to successfully manage the end to end operation of the Primary Connect+ Direct rail model as well as the coastal shipping operation between the East Coast & Perth.

The model involves coordinating the transport of customer freight into and out of Woolworths and non-Woolworths sites via Rail and Coastal Shipping

**Operational coordination and execution of PC+ Coastal Shipping and Rail freight task**:

- Actively impact Primary Connect+ cost and EBIT outcomes by planning cost effective transport and managing equipment utilisation
- Ensure carrier compliance to Woolworths Primary Connect safety standards as well as State and Federal government legislation and “Chain of Responsibility” obligations
- Develop and maintain a high level of engagement and understanding with our Carrier partners and Linehaul service providers
- Contribute to the development of robust plans for seasonal and contingency events through collaboration with leaders from the Operations team
- Manage issues and risks by clearly communicating both internally and externally, escalating as needed
- Identify lane specific or transport planning continuous improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Operations leadership team to implement
- Effective & proactive management of cold chain compliance for temperature controlled freight
- Coordinate equipment breakdowns and repairs and maintenance with suppliers and National Fleet Team as required

**About you**:

- High level of transport knowledge (ideally transport planning experience)
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations appropriately with the ability to navigate through challenging circumstances
- Proven capability in delivering high-quality outputs under pressure and in a fast turnaround time
- Process-driven with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong administrative skills and commercial acumen
