Veterinary cremation services offers discreet transportation of animals from Veterinary Hospitals with all cremations being performed in a state of the art crematorium. We also offer additional private services which are carried out in our viewing/condolence room. We are a professional, friendly business and genuinely care about pets and their owners. We are looking for a quality team member to join our business based at our facility at Yennora. We take pride in conducting a very ethical, clean and neat operation.
About the Opportunity
We're looking for a mature and resourceful person who enjoys providing a higher level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a good driving record and knowledge of Sydney, Southern Highlands and Central Coast areas.
You will be someone who would love to be involved in building and developing an expanding business.
You will be responsible for the transportation of deceased family pets from various vet clinics and homes in the metropolitan and some regional areas. The role includes the operation of our vans, daily contact with both the general public and veterinary professionals, cremation of animal remains in accordance with all state, local and company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will also be required to prepare deceased pets for funeral services.
You will
- Perform removals of deceased from veterinary hospital or residence to transport to Veterinary Cremation Services workplace.
- Maintain and ensures vehicle is clean inside and out and is properly maintained.
- Ensuring the viewing/condolence room is prepared and cleaned before a service.
- Receive deceased, complete paperwork and identification checks.
- Make sure cremated remains are identified, stored and disposed of appropriately.
- Cremation Equipment is operated safely
- Maintains adequate supply of Personal Protective Equipment in removal vehicles.
- Performs duties with care and consideration for the deceased.

- Must be capable of regularly lifting up to 30kg as part of safe lifting procedures

- Be experienced in completing paperwork accurately and have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable, trustworthy and take pride in your work
- Be organised and a neat and tidy worker
- Basic administrative and computer experience
- Ability to follow instructions given over the phone or in person
- Valid Driver's Licence with good knowledge the Greater Sydney area.
- Must hold a car licence (C class) for operating removal vans
