HITH service is seeking a friendly, motivated and forward thinker to participate in the provision of safe, compassionate and person-centered care for our health care consumers.
The HITH service specialises in providing care that avoids Emergency Department presentations, hospital avoidance and supports early discharge from hospital.
**This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions**.
The HITH Assistant in Nursing is an integral part of the HITH service, working in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality health care outcomes for our patients.
HITH delivers Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) for patients requiring short term and long term IV antibiotics, supports early discharge of post operative breast cancer surgery patients, supports early discharge and avoids hospital presentation with respiratory diseases.
The AIN will work under the direction of the HITH nursing team.
**Where You’ll Be Working**
You will assist the nursing team to provide care out in the community of the Central Coast, travelling betweenGosford Hospital, Wyong Hospital and Long Jetty Community Centre.
