**Your role**:
Anglicare Victoria's Financial Counselling program aims to:
- Deliver high quality Financial Counselling through the provision of information, advice, practical assistance and advocacy intended to stabilise and improve the client’s financial situation.
- Support clients navigate financial crisis, build financial wellbeing, capability and resilience.
- Facilitate referrals to other services and broader community support services to address client needs.
- Participation in individual and peer supervision and regular team meetings with team members.

- Qualification Diploma of Financial Counselling
- Membership of Financial Counselling Victoria Inc. (FC Vic)
- An understanding of the impact of environmental factors affecting financial independence on individuals, families and communities. Experience in working with clients who have experienced family violence would be highly desirable.
- Well-developed verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and also as part of a team
- Demonstrated resilience to work with and support clients who have been exposed to trauma
**What you should know**:
- Salary is in line with Level 5 SCHCADS
- This starts at $97,377 plus super
- Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience.
- Office location is Sunshine.
- Fixed term contract to June 30th 2025.
