Warehouse Team Leader

Leading a small team, our Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our Silverwater warehouse team including ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained, goods are received and stored appropriately, goods are dispatched in a timely and efficient manner, and regular reporting on inventory control and stock levels are produced.

**Requirements for Success**:

- Motivating team members to achieve KPIs and evaluate performance
- Support warehouse activities, including receiving, storage and order picking, to ensure efficient and accurate handling of products
- Leading by example ensuring all Work Health Safety standards are the highest priority
- Provide team members with supervision and act as an escalation point for any issues that arise on shift
- Provide daily team briefings to facilitate the daily outcomes
- Execute end of day tasks such as housekeeping to ensure a smooth transition for the next shift
- Reporting and submitting documentation on all performance or safety related matters for managerial follow up
- Picking, packing, labelling, recording and dispatching
- Receipting, sorting, organising and storing/managing inventory.
- To perform cycle counting and inventory checks whenever needed
- Experienced in warehousing and logistics
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised and adaptable to changing circumstances & priorities
- Microsoft Office - Excel, Word
- Previous experience in leading teams
- Experience in establishing, maintaining and improving processes and procedures
- Striving to achieve essential performance targets
