Picking Team Leader

LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is seeking a **Picking Team Leader **to join the Warehouse team in a **full-time permanent** position

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing picking & packing workflow to ensure timely and accurate booking of goods and loading of trucks
- Leading the Picking/Packing Team and provide training and safety brief in compliance with quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the Picking zone.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**

**Picking/Packing**
- Ensure adherence to daily picking and planning tasks provided by theWarehouse Operations Manager & System Analyst
- Print picking waves and allocate team members accordingly based on number of lines to pick
- Ensure planning is respected and reorganize workload as required to respect requested ship dates and last-minute urgent orders
- Investigate missing items and short ship orders as required and blocking/teasing issues
- Liaise daily with Receiving team to prepare pallets to be shipped and load truck
- Support the Picking/Packing team with their tasks as required and/or when all other Team Leader duties are completed

**Replenishment & Stock Movement (Forklift Operations)**
- Manage picking replenishments (automatic replenishment and generation of manual replenishment requests)
- Movement of pallets from racking for picking as required

**Workplace Health & Safety & 5S**
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of work health and safety matters.
- Identify and assess potential hazards and work health and safety risks.
- Ensure compliance with all work health and safety policies and procedures.
- Provide relevant information, guidance, and support to engaged workers in relation to work health and safety.
- Monitor and execute security measures
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse following 5S and internal targets, supervise staff 5S management in the Receiving and Storage Zones
- Ensure all stations are clean and respect iAuditor standards

**Team Management**
- Daily brief to the Picking/Packing team about previous day’s performance and targets of the day
- Manage KPIs for each team member & hold performance appraisal meetings with team members as required
- Maintain time & attendance (timesheets) for Picking/Packing Team, including liaising with Warehouse Operations Manager & System Analyst on leave requests

**Stocktake**
- Organize cycle count to ensure stock accuracy if required
- Liaise with Customer Service to check picking errors and customers short/over shipped complaints
- Liaise with Supply Chain Planner to adjust stock if required
- Assist the Warehouse Operations Manager & System Analyst with annual stocktake

**Communicate with Stakeholders**
- Regularly report to Warehouse Operations Manager & System Analyst about processes and performance of the Warehouse
- Attend weekly Team Leaders meeting with the Warehouse Operations Manager & System Analyst to share picking/receiving schedule for the coming days and other operational topics
- Develop and sustain excellent communication with all team members and ensure a harmonious and effective working environment

**Adhoc support for team, including filling in for the Receiving Team Leader and Assistant Warehouse Manager when required.**
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- a current forklift license with high reach experience (required)
- 12+ months experience in forklift driving
- RF scanning picking and receiving experience
- computer literacy, including intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite products
- ability to work in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a safe working environment
