**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for a well-organised person to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Silverwater warehouse/service centre. As warehouse storeperson, you will be responsible for the logistics of parts and equipment to ensure they are delivered to and returned from various job sites and suppliers across the greater Sydney area. You will perform stocktake and maintain stock levels while ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. You will manage the handover of tools and equipment, keeping a tracking record across job sites and field staff possession. Observing, managing and maintaining Work Health Safety & Environmental compliance within the warehouse facility is an important part of the role. Full-time or part-time working arrangements can be negotiated based on experience and preferences.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receive incoming goods for service, maintenance and repair jobs across all departments of the business, checking for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Goods are to be receipted in simPRO in preparation for technicians to collect.
- Manage and maintain a tracking record of plant and equipment held at the warehouse and on job sites.
- Ensuring equipment is functioning prior to and upon return from sites.
- Carrying out Testing & Tagging of fleet power tools and equipment.
- Organise compliance and calibration testing certificates for equipment.
- Liaison with site staff to ensure stock and materials arrive at the sites in a timely manner.
- Pick up/deliver materials, equipment and supplies across the greater Sydney area including loading and unloading of equipment when required.
- Manage the return of goods to suppliers before deadlines.
- Maintain Work Health & Safety compliance by keeping a clean, organised warehouse.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehousing environment
- Must be proactive and able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Forklift Licence
- Computer Literate
- Can work with all types of power and hand tools safely
- Tag and testing qualification (or willing to obtain)
- Current driving licence with knowledge of Sydney
