
Principal Lead, Health Promotion

**Key accountabilities include**:
- Provide high-level authoritative advice to senior management, partners, and other stakeholders including members of the public, to influence strategic policy and delivery of complex and/or innovative preventive health interventions.
- Provide high-level expertise for the processes of strategic planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Analyse and convey complex ideas and information to a range of stakeholders in relation to preventive health programs and initiatives.
- Lead collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders and partners to build preventive health capacity and improve the delivery of preventive health programs and interventions.
- Strategically monitor preventive health initiatives, objectives and strategies based on the analysis of data and ensure findings are shared to build the evidence base and improve preventive health planning and implementation.
- Lead a small team, including coaching to improve performance and develop strengths, foster a collaborative working environment and ensure effective team processes
The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Health Promotion, Exercise Physiology, Public Health or Nutrition/Dietetics. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.It will be a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19.
