About the Role
- Working autonomously within a healthcare team, the officer will design, execute, and evaluate comprehensive health promotion initiatives aligned with national, state, and departmental policies to improve bowel cancer prevention and detection in the region.
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and manage health promotion interventions and quality improvement interventions, in line with evidence-based practice and program logic to contribute to reducing bowel cancer morbidity and mortality across the Metro South catchment.
- Make decisions and propose actions in relation to priorities for the promotion of bowel cancer prevention and early detection in the MSH catchment by analysing available evidence from local, regional, state, national and/or international data.
