Not only do we have great products, but we have a great team behind them. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Boiler Maker / Pressure Welder to join our engineering workshop team

**The Role**

Reporting to the Mechanical Team Manager, this role will form part of our Sanitarium Engineering Division (SED). The purpose of the role is to deliver project support and services so that we can continue to grow and produce our great products. As part of this role, your key responsibilities will include:

- Utilising pressure welding skills to fabricate required parts.
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings as provided.
- Deliver on daily allocated tasks and contribute to project outcomes.
- Undertake installation of new equipment on site.

**The Person**

The successful applicant will be able to perform TIG/MIG welding to a high standard and will have a rigorous attention to detail. They must be able to work unsupervised in a multi-task environment and must be a proactive, insightful problem solver. The successful applicant will be focused, committed to safety and will be able to communicate effectively as part of a team. They must also have the following qualifications/experience:

- Pressure Welding Certificate 7 - GTAW
- Trade certificate with a minimum of three years project/workshop experience.
- Stainless Steel Fabrication experience essential.
- Ability to crawl into confined spaces or climb at heights.
- Sheet metal experience is advantageous.
- Food manufacturing experience is advantageous.
