John Hunter Children’s Hospital is seeking a committed Staff Specialist in Paediatric Endocrinology to join a multidisciplinary team delivering affirming, evidence-based care as part of the Trans and Gender Diverse Services. This dual part time role offers both going ongoing and temporary capacity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
**What we are looking for**:
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Specialist in Paediatric Endocrinology, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
- Comprehensive understanding of, or willingness to acquire, understanding of gender affirming care and the priorities for young people who are Trans and Gender Diverse and their families
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster
