**The Role**
The Wellbeing and Equity Branch is seeking to fill multiple vacancies for Policy and Program Officers (APS5). The Wellbeing and Equity Branch provides a welcoming, friendly and supportive environment where we develop policy advice and provide information to Government, undertake program and stakeholder management and display national leadership to support the safety and wellbeing of school students.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Reporting to an Assistant Director and/or project leader, responsibilities of the APS 5 position may include:

- Supporting the delivery of various measures and related initiatives as directed, including media monitoring, coordinating and responding to requests for response in collaboration with other team and branch members.
- Supporting stakeholder management activities, which may include secretariat functions including arranging meetings, taking minutes, making sitting fee payments and communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing and/or drafting Ministerial correspondence, briefings, agreements and various communication material as directed.
- Supporting the delivery of program management activities, such as procurement, grants or contracts and associated financial management processes.
- Contributing to a respectful, inclusive and supportive division, branch and section culture.
