**The role**

Reporting to the very approachable Property Services Specialist, the focus of this role is to provide specialised professional property repair and maintenance assistance for all our residential properties across a national portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

- Arrange repairs and maintenance to meet standards and ensure the maximisation of repairs for optimal financial returns
- Allocate repair jobs to tradesman in a timely and professional manner and follow up tradespeople to ensure repairs are carried out in an effective and timely manner and able to prioritise repair and maintenance issues accordingly
- Set up and maintain Preventative Maintenance Services for DCJ leased & owned residential properties
- Assist the National Property Lead in all aspects of property management
- High level stakeholder engagement, direct liaison and understanding of owner / client / tenant objectives and timeframes for completion of effective repairs and maintenance services
- Arrange contractors in conjunction with the service specialists for new property set ups such as essential services connections, property fit outs and property make goods
- Checking of invoices to ensure work assigned matches the invoice details and then finalising/closing in the ticketing system and constantly updating all systems and files to ensure they are current and up to date
- Contribute to daily operations of the property team and provide assistance, advice and support to the other property teams day to day operations
- Establish and maintain a contractor register for insurances, licences and other relevant documents

**About you**
- Proven track record with at least 1 years experience of working in property maintenance or a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills and proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and implement corporate policies, procedures, and systems relevant to the position
- Strong administration skills and must understand basic residential property workings and terminology
- Management of tenant and landlord responsibilities for leased properties regarding repairs and maintenance
- A general knowledge of residential property structure
- Proven ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Establish and maintain a contractor register for insurances, licences and other relevant documents
