We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, capable, and reliable person to fill the role of Barista on a Full time basis. Here at NT-CWS we deliver a fast paced, high-volume food & beverage experience, always in combination with excellent customer service to all our visitors, both domestic and international. The successful applicant will be someone that is able to provide friendly and efficient service to our guests to ensure their time with us is memorable.

**Key position details & duties**
- Provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to all guests.
- This is a fast-paced role providing friendly food & beverage counter service, basic food preparation.
- The role will include cleaning duties such as table clearing, ensuring courter areas are well presented and refreshed & assisting with dish room duties as required.
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practises.
- Barista and RSA skills would be considered an advantage.
- Full availability over Qld and NSW School Holiday periods is essential.
- This is a Full-Time position with hours of work ranging from Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster.
- You must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment that includes birds and reptiles.

Selection Criteria:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within a Fast Food, cafe or restaurant establishment.
- A current Qld Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card/Certificate is desirable or willingness to obtain.
- Barista experience is essential.
- High standard of personal presentation and communication.
- Excellent customer service skills, including cash handling and up-selling ability.
- Flexible approach to work, as this position will involve working across different outlets and different work teams within the Food & Beverage and Events department.
- You must be a hardworking, friendly & cooperative person: a ‘can-do’ attitude is a key part of the job.
- Must be self-directed with excellent time management and ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Knowledge of the attractions of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is desirable.
