Our brand is growing fast, and we're now launching our first flagship cafe location on the southern end of the Gold Coast. A space that reflects everything we stand for: quality, community, and connection.
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Head Barista / Café Manager to take the lead and bring this vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and outstanding service
- Oversee coffee quality, equipment calibration, and training of barista staff
- Manage ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
- Build, coach, and inspire a strong, high-performing team culture
- Maintain a consistent standard of excellence across every shift
- Work closely with the founder and roastery team to grow the café's impact
- Contribute ideas to drive efficiency, profitability, and customer engagement
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a leadership or café management role within specialty coffee
- Deep understanding of espresso, extraction, and milk techniques
- Strong operational and organisational skills (rostering, ordering, cost control)
- Proven ability to lead by example and motivate teams under pressure
- Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with POS systems (Square/Shopify preferred) and basic P&L knowledge
- Passion for coffee, people, and building genuine customer relationships
- Food safety certification must be obtained within 3 months of commencing the role
