**The Role**
The Operations Systems Lead (CommTrac) will lead the implementation of the terminal operating system of all our bulk cargo called CommTrac (a TBA Group system) on a phased release to our three ports over a 12-month period. This role will ensure that core operational functionality of planning, loading, unloading, and handling of cargo and commodities is considered and included where appropriate across all existing and planning systems for Southern Ports.

This role will have oversight to build an understanding of our core operational activities across the three (3) ports to lead the implementation of the terminal operating system with our vendor TBA. This position will lead the translation of core operational activities into the CommTrac System. This activity will require an individual with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will take on this work and fill in any gaps that they encounter and partner with the operational teams at each port to build the right system for SPA.

This full time 12-month fixed term position will appeal to a suitably qualified person with experience in supporting a digital transformation team and will require innovative thinking and a calm, focused approach.

**The Expertise**
- Process mapping and translation of operational activities into systems
- Demonstrated experience in project planning and execution
- Experience in Project delivery of a life cycle software implementation
- Building users stories and test scripts
- High level knowledge and experience in workforce management and planning
- SCADA systems knowledge and awareness
- Experience working on a large-scale digital transformation and industrial organisation (desirable)
- Strong track record of successful stakeholder relationship development and management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information in a clear, concise manner and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent project management and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to conduct focus groups as required
- Strong analysis and reconciliation skills
- Current WA C Class Driver’s License

**Requirements**:
To be eligible for this 12-month fixed term full time role, applicants must provide proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency. The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing.
