**About the Role**

Opportunity exists within the Bechtel team to work closely with our customers on various Mining and Metals projects across Australia. The **Information Systems Lead **role is at the core of Bechtel’s data centric delivery model. This position will be based out of **Perth.**

**Key Responsibilities **include but are not limited to:

- Works with all project functions to develop and implement the Project Information Plan, Project Automation Plan and Digital Delivery Plan in accordance with Bechtel standards, Project functional needs, and client information requirements to describe the way in which the Project will be delivered successfully
- Provide cross-functional coordination and methods of integration in alignment with M&M standards, including but not limited to, 3D Model Development, 4D Integrated Schedule, Common Data Environment (CDE) alignment, 5D Integrated Cost, and support the development of an innovative culture on Project.
- Works directly with the client and the clients IS&T representatives to understand their information and data requirements and incorporates requirements into the digital delivery plan
- Reports to project management on Information Systems, Automation and Digital Delivery progress, activities, roadblocks
- Tracks the project Automation costs against the budget and identifies changes to the Automation scope which require trending
- Reports back to and receives guidance from Bechtel Mining and Metals IS&T, Automation and Digital Delivery functions

**What you bring**
- Industry experience gained through recognized degree, and/or specialized courses in general information systems or relevant information systems disciplines, and/or extensive work experience in information systems or relevant equivalent experience in information systems disciplines.
- Experience with managing people including providing mentoring and guidance
- Experience controlling costs, managing budgets, identifying changes in scope and reporting to management
- Knowledge of data centric execution, BIM principals including intelligent 3D modelling, 4D scheduling and planning and 5D Cost controls
- Knowledge of data models and class libraries and how they impact Engineering, Procurement, Construction work processes
- Strong safety focus and value the development and maintenance of client relationships.
- Sound communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential.
