The Vehicle Estimation Development Officer is responsible for developing, analysing and optimising vehicle estimation processes, tools, and skills to ensure the accuracy and sustainability of the repair processes.
**Reporting to the Criteria Assessment & Audit manager, the role includes but is not limited to;**
- Developing accurate processes to ensure thorough inspections of vehicles to identify damage and determine the necessary repairs following approved repair methods.
- Supporting and promoting the use of the appropriate estimating software, diagnostic tools, and systems to deliver efficient and effective estimates.
- Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate cost efficiency for new vehicle designs or modifications.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or performance.
- Preparation and presentation of regular reports on assessment findings, repairs estimates and audit outcomes.
- Identification of operational assessment challenges and inefficiencies to develop sustainable solutions.

- Strategic orientation and proven commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent computer literacy - including advanced Excel skills.

- Previous training and development experience.
