We’re growing and have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Cost Analyst to join our Procurement Team. This role will drive cost analytics and operational excellence through the GPC APAC group, by supporting the team, reviewing, and analysing supplier & commodity pricing, discrepancies, fluctuations, and changes, assessing our costs against market expectations, and being a point of contact for pricing increase enquiries from our Merchandise Team & supplier network.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Gather and analyse financial data
- Focal point for all supplier price movement
- Monitor and advise on impacting markets, such as local and overseas commodities
- Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actuals
- Prepare detailed reports
- Estimate product costs
- Forecast and analyse costs of processes, labour and inventory
- Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions
- Conduct market research to support future business planning
- Scope, develop, and maintain various solutions, including models, reports, and dashboards

**All about you**:

- An analyst, or experienced in a similar role
- Skilled in data, operational and financial analysis
- Able to manage large data sets and develop complex analyses
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations
- Knowledge of enterprise software and data extraction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical aptitude
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Excel
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
